Vittoria Amanti (b. 2002) is an Italian artist and philosopher based in Paris, driven by an insatiable need to capture the intensity of existence. Born on April 22 in Bologna, Italy, she developed an early interest in creation as a means to process, tolerate, and understand her surroundings.

During her studies at a Liceo of human sciences with a socio-economic focus, she cultivated a strong interest in human sciences, English literature, and philosophy. These influences led her to create custom clothing pieces and artworks exploring themes of alienation, intoxication, and the distortion of reality, inspired by James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, and Oscar Wilde. After graduating with 98/100 with a study on self-realization, she moved to the Netherlands in 2021 to study in the Global and Comparative Philosophy program at Leiden University.

In the Netherlands, her philosophical studies and artistic practice nurtured one another, leading to the development of multidisciplinary projects such as Poesie Mute (2021–2024), Those I Won’t Love (2021), as well as various tattooing and logo design projects. In 2022, she founded the first Merchandise Committee within the student association Symposion, for which she was chair and designer until 2024. That same year, she participated in Maria Sherrand’s performance in Amsterdam with the Marina Abramović Institute, an experience that would later influence her approach to performance art. From 2022 to 2023, she was a Board Member and Creative Director of Spheara Magazine in The Hague.

Graduating in 2024 with a thesis on A Rational Use of Aesthetic Sensibility, Vittoria is now pursuing admission to Les Beaux-Arts de Paris, building a portfolio that merges fine arts, design, and conceptual experimentation. Her work seeks to bridge the gap between the tangible and the metaphysical, the personal and the universal.
