Deli-Honest started his musical career very early on. At only three years old he started with guitar lessons, in which he excelled quickly. He was too young to understand any technicalities, but as soon as his mentor demonstrated a song once, Deli-Honest would be able to repeat it. At only 4 years old he had his first performance at De Grote Kerk in Alkmaar.

Unfortunately due to circumstances, Deli-Honest had to quit playing the guitar. He picked it up now and then, but his musical career was on a hold. He never stopped listening and being interested in music. He would know and sing a lot of songs and even at a young age he would be currating fire playlists.

At 14 Deli-Honest gave music another try, as a Rapper this time. After making a couple of songs and getting a small following he quit making music again for several years. Puberty hit and he had different priorities. He would still write songs and freestyle over beats, but his busy lifestyle and insecurity about his craft, would not let him record any songs.

It took him almost a decade to get back into the studio. He started making beats and recording raps again. he realised that his poetry was not delivering his message by being read, so the best option for him was to turn to music again. just about at the right timing, because he believes the addiction to creating music literally saved his life. He fell in love with the technicalities and physics of music. He does not consider himself a musician, he says you could describe him as a poet in love with complexity and a mad scientist when it comes to his experiments with sounds. According to deli-honest half of the music barely sounds like music, he would describe it as “looking for the keys of creation in these waves.” In the last few years time Deli-Honest produced and recorded several mixtapes.
