d-soulution is deel’s producer tag. it’s hard to specify the genre d-soulution works with, because he lets the work itself guide the process. he considers himself more of a scientist than a musician, so most of these productions sound like failed experiments, which they are..

most of his works start off as an idea he tries to experiment with. usually he tries to use functionalities of his daw the way they were not intended to be used, in order to create unique abstract sounds. whether he tries to create waves from singular sounds or tries to combine that with slowing down time or whether he just samples some records in unholy ways, he manages to give every production a very unique, often athmospheric sound.

because his entire catalogue is based on a certain musical philosophy, every seperate song is a part of the experiment he’s working on. most of the songs he releases are unfinished because they are just failed experiments to him. almost all of his works can be found online because he opens the vault doors once in a while. not only does he like to share his ‘notes’, he’s very much under the impression that one’s trash can be another’s treasure. 

everything is relative and subjective. especially art and music. some people like things that sound like literal noise to me, hell most of these songs sound like literal noise to me. i am also very much under the impression that age and mental state influence the way we experience time and thus music. after all, music is merely a form of decorating time. instead of merely focussing on adjusting the decorations, i’d like to consider playing with time as well.
