Hi, I’m Alice, and I’m an Anglo-French artist currently based in the Netherlands. I grew up in the UK and moved to Leiden three years ago to pursue a BA in philosophy. I graduated from Leiden University last year and have dedicated this year to growing as an artist and discovering my artistic voice. In particular, I am focusing on establishing myself as an illustrator, and on discovering the intersection between philosophy and visual art. My artistic interest lies in how visual art can be used to tell stories or communicate complex philosophical ideas.

I believe that art can enable us as humans to obtain a deeper understanding of certain ideas or theories beyond their expression in prose. As an illustrator, I am always looking to see how art can communicate stories and ideas, and I am particularly interested in seeing what art has to offer to represent philosophical theories.
