One has fidgetspinners and one has non-drinkable water.
How is this in any respect acceptable?
If we are such an intelligent, why does the world look like this?
What do we do about this?
Can we save the world or merely the 1000 people around is?
How do we change a system that doesn’t work for everyone?
Why do we send 10 different kinds of rockets to space, rather than work together to create one that works and use the rest of the money to give those, without clean drinking water, clean water?
No, we decide to build more rockets.
Not just rockets, but why do we need so many brands of everything reaching towards the same goal? I get that competition leads to progress, but at some point it doesn’t make sense that we have 20 different brands working on improving tiny steps rather than working together to bring real progress.
Worst part is that the people that have the least work the hardest to provide the resources for these technologies, while not even being able to afford it themselves.
Working towards a product they’ll never be able to hold.
Colonialism fucked everything up.
Why not tax the richest people enough to help the poor?
Why help them hoard more and more?
“Capitalism is not perfect but it’s the best we have.”
That’s because you need to think harder.
